My path into design started when I established an online homewares store which stocked home décor and soft furnishings. I ran this store successfully for a number of years. Having the store led me to want to learn more about interior design, so I broadened my skills and studied through iscd. In 2021, I was lucky enough to start working with iscd. With a 10-year history working as an educator, I was thrilled to become a part of the iscd team. I love empowering students to challenge themselves and evolve as the designers of the future.
Currently, my work is a combination of iscd and my design business – Nicole Bentley Interiors. I love the detail and different stories that each house tells. My particular area of passion is Federation housing, and living in Queensland allows me to fuel this passion through our work renovating and restoring Queenslanders.
