Prue Royle, founder of iscd and The Heartful Travellers has just announced her next exciting new small group tour exploring the culture, design, art, architecture, music, food and fun in sizzling Spain.
Spanish design is making great headway in Europe. On the tour you will be visiting showrooms and boutiques to view the latest and greatest from designers such Antonio Saturnino, BD Barcelona, Tresserra and Sancal. Some of the best 20th century artists lived in Barcelona: Miro, Gaudi, Picasso, Dali and of course the historical El Greco and Velazquez, amongst many others over the centuries.
The tour will cover many aspects of Spanish design, from the ancient Moorish Alhambra Palace in Granada to the shiny new Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, near San Sebastian.
The tour begins in Barcelona where you will have a panoramic tour of the city and a private tour of Gaudi’s ingenious structures. After 3 days in Barcelona travel to Granada to see one of the great architectural sites of Europe – Alhambra. From there you will spend 3 days in San Sebastian then back to Barcelona for an incredible spanish cooking lesson and a farewell dinner.
A lively artistic tradition and the Spaniards’ love of the good life contribute to this tour being perfect for everyone interested in culture, design, art, music, food, wine and having fun with like-minded people.
The tour will run for 9 days from April 29th to May 7th. Places are limited for this tour. For more info or to book your place please CLICK HERE
