JOB TITLE:
Resene Colourshop – Shop Assistant
REPORTS TO:
Resene Colourshop Manager.
DIVISION:
Resene, RPAL

KEY PURPOSE:
• Maximising Sales Within Our Defined Distribution Policy And Margin Requirements
• Containing Operating Costs
• Maintaining Desired Standards Of Product, Work Quality And Service
• Maximising The Use Of All Resources To Optimise Productivity
• Compliance With All Legal, Environmental, Safety And Community Obligations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maximising Sales Within Our Defined Distribution Policy And Margin Requirements

1.1 Achieve revenue budgets set for the Colourshop.

1.2 Provide excellent Customer Service in accordance with Company Policy.

1.3 Assist in the settlement/resolution of complaints and claims on the Company in consultation with the Colourshop Manager.

1.4 Regularly review and maintain stock levels to ensure customer demands are met.

1.5 Be aware of opposition products and policies and be able to recommend counter measures where appropriate.

1.6 Liaise with and support Sales Representatives.

2. Containing Operating Costs

2.1 Achieve nil operational mistints and write offs.

3. Maintaining Desired Standards Of Product, Work Quality And Service
3.1 Encourage a “right first time” philosophy within the Colourshop.

3.2 Ensure that the Colourshop is presented in the best possible manner.

3.3 Ensure that all stock control procedures are followed.

3.4 Ensure that all credit control measures are adhered to.

3.5 Ensure that till-balancing, banking and petty cash duties are performed according to company policy.

3.6 Provide assistance to team members in their job roles as required/directed..

4. Maximise The Use Of All Resources to Optimise Productivity
4.1 Ensure that all equipment and machinery is maintained in good working order.

4.2 Ensure that Company shop security requirements are implemented.

4.3 Maintain technical and product knowledge to provide excellent customer service.

5. Compliance With All Legal, Environmental, Safety And Community Obligations
5.1 Ensure that waste products are disposed of legally and in an environmentally safe manner.

5.2 Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained, and that Company procedures are followed.
