CERTIFICATE IV IN INTERIOR DECORATION

Exterior Use of Colour, Resene

Highly Commended

Matthew Pike, Sydney

“Matthew has successfully combined the heritage hues of deep red and cream with a fresh twist of white trims in this Victorian Terrace, creating a very street smart but traditional look. His contemporary scheme is divine – the soft subtlety of the Grey Nurse with the touches of the Patterns Blue and white trims bring out the prettiness of the architectural features. Well done Matthew!”

Additionally her renders are outstanding and sell her two alternative schemes beautifully!”

Best Residential Scheme, Inside Out

Her eye for design and style can be observed with this proposal where she has transformed a run-down farmhouse into an opulent family home – while still paying homage to its historical beauty. The success of this design is due to a wonderful medley of colours, functional floor planning as well as a wonderful selection of furniture, artworks and accessories. She has then communicated these wonderful design ideas through a combination of hand and computer aided drawing programs. Nerissa should be very proud of the work she has produced here and throughout the course.”
