Stylist extraordinaire and iscd Ripe Exhibition opener Megan Morton, shows you how to discover a room's inner fabulousness by minimising its faults and maximising its assets with practical advice in her new book Home Love.
Whether you're mid-renovation or just decoratively bored, Home Love is a charming, practical and informative guide that will provide you with the real tips you need to re-imagine your home.
From modern and hard edge to whimsical and charming, Home Love shows us how to realise a room's aesthetic and functional potential through the use of colour, lighting, furniture, objects and the art of arrangement. Megan knows the importance of budget, too. While not shying away from luxury, she is adept at clever makeovers that deliver without spending a fortune.
Create rooms for living or dreaming; get uppity with uptown glamour or go Australian rustic; have tidy kids (really!), be insanely practical, accommodate that TV, live with pets, host the ultimate garden party and go green. Home Love also includes practical advice, ergonomic rules, a list of seasonal flowers, and an inspirational global index of resources.
Megan Morton has been called on to style, design and work her ‘house whispering' powers for celebrities, magazines and her next-door neighbours. Her styling has been featured on the cover of Elle Decoration (UK) and Vanity Fair, Vogue Living, In Style and Inside Out. When she's not designing homes and styling mantel pieces, Megan travels the world to source beautiful things for her decorating business HOME. Megan writes not only as a design professional, but also someone who shares her home with three children, a husband and a schnauzer.

iscd is very honoured to have Megan opening the exhibitions this coming July, with over 200 First and Second Year Graduates attending. Join them and hear her words of wisdom and insider advice whilst awarding the high achieving students for mid year as they mark this milestone in their design . Exhibition details above can also be found on the Student Graduation page.
