At the International School of Colour and Design, there are success stories happening everyday...
iscd Graduate Sandra Dorney, recently launched two beautiful jewellery ranges with Levendi Jewellers.
Her ranges are the Chelsea (organic cut-outs) and the Kakadu (criss-cross work).
Sandra's creations developed out of a Natural Object Design she completed as part of her Foundation Course with the International School of Colour and Design. Her own company, Sandra Dorney Designs, is now all about "Premium, contemporary jewellery design created for your independent style".
The ranges are created in solid 925 Sterling Silver, made on a wax mould. Any of the pieces created can be individually made for special requirements in other metals, such as yellow, white or rose gold ... or all of the above!
In addition to the ranges currently available, Sandra is also embarking on custom pieces for individual client requests, which she says "is a very exciting curve in my growth as a designer!"
The launch of her range was held in Levendi's flagship store on Tuesday December 8. These photo's show some of the action from the night. The pieces are currently stocked in store at 142 King Street, Sydney (next to Chanel).
Sandra's creative journey began at iscd in the 4 week Styling With Colour short course, followed by the Foundation Course, and now currently back completing the Colour Diploma. we look forward to seeing what Sandra has for us next!
I'm curious why do you use blog on - Silverstripe? What is your opinion about it?
