St.Art Foundation Course - Certificate IV in Design [CUV40303]

Do you see yourself doing "something creative" as a career but can't decide what? What exactly is a colour consultant anyway? How are all those slick graphics in magazines and on the web created? When do I get to use my own unique design style?

If you are compelled to draw, paint, create or design in any form then we will teach you all the industry relevant skills, guide you onto a creative career path and give you the confidence and knowledge to launch you into a successful career in the design world.

Developed specifically for 16-22 year olds, a version of our Foundation Course - Certificate IV in Design called St.Art is geared for young adults and school leavers, and taught by experienced dedicated educators committed to nurturing and embracing individual expression. No portfolio or entrance exam is needed - all we ask for is your passion and dedication.

You will be working on industry relevant projects to assess your competency at each of the modules needed to fulfill your certificate - there are no exams! You are carefully guided to learn skills such as design techniques and how the creative process works, colour theory and application as well as how to build your confidence in presenting yourself and your work - skills vital in gaining employment in the industry. A professionally presented portfolio of your design work is also developed and completed by the end of your first year studies.

At the end of the foundation course, you are fully equipped and prepared for your next adventure into one of our exclusively designed Diplomas.
