This month iscd Interior Styling Graduate Daniella Kilov took her recently developed Styling knowledge to professional Stylist Paul Hopper and assisted on a photo shoot at the beautiful Strickland House in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The shoot focused on Australian designers of all inspirations combining together for House&Gardens January 2010 issue. Some of the pieces previewed were Designer Rugs creations by Alex Perry, previously profiled on the iscd website.

Interior Styling and Colour Design Graduate, Daniella shares her experiences from the project - "Sourcing and styling Australian Designer products for Paul Hopper was definitely an eye opening experience for me. Not many people know the true ins and outs of styling, it isn't just about making something beautiful but rather, creating a thought provoking and exciting environment. After studying the iscd Colour Design and Interior Styling Diploma I I felt more than confident in assisting a professional Stylist on this job and any others that may come my way. I have not only made invaluable friends in the Styling world, but have been able to put into practice the skills I learnt in the iscd Diploma's and take a big step towards the creative career I crave".

iscd Surface Design and Interior Styling students  alike, are loving this latest range of wallpapers from Porter's Original Paints, released late November. ‘Carnival Stripes' and ‘Candy Stripes' are the latest wallpapers designs introduced in Porter's Paints handcrafted wallpaper collection.

Carnival stripes shows playful vibrant colours which are well suited to rumpus areas, teenage retreats and feature areas for any coastal or urban abode.
The design is available in 3 bubbly colour ways; hot pink with ‘hoola hoop', gorgeous still blue with ‘surf' and a yellow zest with ' sun'.
A colour for all purpose, Carnival Stripes is a design that remains classic yet allows the individual personality in every ‘little Porter's' to express themselves whether it be from infants to teens.

Candy stripes being adored by babies and toddlers, are made of a double scoop of delicious sweet, almost edible colour combinations.
Presenting ‘Candy Apple' a soft pink & green, ‘Lemon Sherbet' with a touch of lilac and yellow, ‘Peppermint' with its aqua. Also ‘Milk Bar, a devilish denim combination for the little guys, which also compliments living areas.

All colours have been created to ensure harmony and depth and regardless of style.
The stripe design has been a popular addition to the already exquisite range of wallpapers and can co ordinate back with all rich Porter's colours.
