Interior Design Diploma

Graduates of the Interior Styling Diploma have the opportunity to evolve their skills by learning what's needed to become an interior designer.  Learn the ins and outs, tips and tricks, skills and programs to become an Interior Designer.

Subject Areas

You will learn how to:

  • navigate and execute Autocad LT 2009.
  • develop complete working drawings for any building project regardless of scale or genre.
  • draw plans, elevations, sections and details as presentation drawings or as fully detailed construction drawings that communicate to technicians or clients.
  • create accurate drawings to confirm what will fit, how the proportions work, confirm circulation flows and be a tool to assist in procurement management.
  • successfully manage your projects as an interior designer.

Following a basic understanding of Autocad LT 2009 two exciting and real life projects will be offered.

Project 1
A space planning project will be provided in "rough hand format", to closely reflect a real world

A major project designed to explore your creativity and demonstrate your technical skills as a stylist and designer. A commercial bar in North Sydney is our client who will give an on-site briefing. The format to submit the assignment includes presentation boards, construction plan/elevation/detail and
