Colour Psychology is a fascinating and complex topic that relates to all aspects of design - it is explored in our Foundation Course. We are very careful about how we use and teache Colour Psychology as in reality, everyone reacts differently to colours. Colour has a distinct visual language and is the most emotional element of design with it strongly influencing a viewer’s mood, feelings, associations and choices. Different variations of colour can have extremely varied psychological effects from person to person. Here is a fun video on the topic showing one persons understanding of the topic.
